For this project, the shape of the space was created with formwork panels. According to this positive form, every space in the building that matches the scenery is being created as a negative correspondence.
In order to shape a specific part or product, the mold is usually filled with liquid metal.
In order to shape the three-story space of the plastic moon house, a total of four die-casting molds were used. (In the picture below, from left to right, you can see the shape of the basement, the first floor, the second floor and the roof.) In addition, the "difference in height of the mold" can be increased to 1.2 meters, and in some places even the empty front room is covered The pool is open and connects the guest rooms with light colors.
Then, these shapes were built like the building seen in the image below. This actually means that the mold in the picture above is built into the construction form of the picture below, but there are subtle changes in this transformation process. plastic sheds
Finally, the four molds are stacked vertically on top of each other. Therefore, there has been an imbalance in the proportions between the "liquid" living space of human beings and the "solid" mold. This feature clarifies the quality difference of the special space in the plastic moon house.
People can deeply feel this difference in quality in the building, no matter which part of the house is in the liquid, you can stand, float or sit.
